Our on-site professional development centre, Misk Schools Academy, organises a wide range of training programmes designed to develop the capacity of teaching and non-teaching staff.
Courses are delivered both internally and by external providers. For leaders and aspiring leaders across all departments, we offer a portfolio of leadership development opportunities.
We are an accredited Cambridge Professional Development Centre and offer a range of Cambridge teaching and leadership Professional Development Qualifications (PDQs) in both Arabic and English. Other external leadership development programmes are provided by organisations such as Dale Carnegie Training and the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).
Misk Schools invests in and expects all staff to participate in significant professional development each year. For teaching staff this includes two hours of allocated time per week built into their schedules.
Our approach to all development programmes is based on the High Performance Learning philosophy.
